The following pictures are parts of the Osprey A-1 Classic kit. The above being 2 sets of carbon D-boxes. Please note the difference between D-box and Taco Shell. Sometimes the Taco Shell is referred to as a D-box. A D-box includes the Taco shell and the spar, along with front ribs which are usually twice as many as you put in the trailing edge. The full D-box is the STEEL in the wings. I think the D-box has less bend with a load than a steel bar.

The above are my A-1 and A-2 classic models. The A-1 was first at the 2004 NATS, and the A-2 came in second. The A-1 has the more advanced wing design than the standard classic kit.
