This is the tool for carving those Hand Launch and Catapult Glider wings quickly. This is not one of those whimpy plastic planers that gouges your balsa, but planes off a nice smooth cut. More planing, less sanding! Incidentally, this David Planer is not an ego trip for me, it just so happened that is what it is called! But I will take credit for it!

The David Planer comes with 2 double edge blades for $15 in the package as you see it in the middle of the picture. The replacement blade package of 10 more blades is $10, and shown on the right.

You can see by the length of the shaving that it continues to cut a uniform depth down the WHOLE sheet!

Look at that shaving. It is about .01 inches thick down the whole sheet. That means you can get consistent airfoils without a whole lot of sanding!
