Hi Dave, Last night I remembered a little more about the Nelson 40. First, a little background. One day I got the urge to build a Class D free flight model so I contacted Dave Shadel of Performance Specialties as he was selling the hottest 40 available. You may remember that Dave was the many times Formula One champion. He had been modifying 40's for the Formula One guys for years, using his own parts and modifications. When He retired, as many times Champ, he began to sell modified 40's for the market. Subsequently he became affiliated with Henry Nelson as the outlet for "hopped up" racing engines using his own parts and mod's Dave is an old friend of mine and I asked him to put together a really good Class D free flight engine. The note he sent with the engine said "to build it strong" This engine should be a real "Barn Burner" Buzz
